The Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is an important ritual holiday for many Mexicans, Latinos, and Angelenos in the area. Many will gather at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Sunday, October 29 for a day of celebration, remembrance, and blessings. Soak in the festive atmosphere, admire 100+ decorated gravestone altars, and mingle with a crowd dressed up in Calaca (skeleton) costumes. You'll also find live musical performances, Aztec ritual dancers, handicraft shopping, and delicious Mexican cuisine. Highlights of the Dia de los Muertos include:

Tickets to Dia de los Muertos cost $20 per person; please bring exact change. Children under the age of 8 and seniors ages 65 and over are free until 4 pm.
