Go Play Outside in LA This Fall!

Sure, you may think of Rodeo Drive, A-list celebs and lots of red carpet when you think of Los Angeles, but we are so much more. We've got oodles of activities for those who want to get outside and breathe in some crisp autumn air this season.

Not far from our West Hollywood/ Beverly Hills hotel are lots of open, green spaces, trails and parks perfect for walking, biking, hiking, the dog and taking in some tremendous views.

Runyon Canyon Park dog park is perfect for humans and for Fido. Watch for Falcons and do some people watching, too, while you're there. You won't be disappointed.

For a bevvy of possible outdoor activities and stunning elevation, head over to Griffith Park.  Here you can ride horses, play tennis or golf, swim or just picnic your heart out. If you want to burn some calories, hike the Hollyridge Trail. You'll be sweating.

Also worth mentioning is Amir Garden, tucked into Griffith park. It is an LA version of the secret garden with meandering pathways, bramble groves and hidden benches.

If you're up for a little bit of a journey, head to downtown LA and explore Vista Hermosa Natural Park, a green space smack dab in the heart of the city. You'll find lots of grass, a play area for the kids and a waterfall and pond.
