Tickets and ScheduleEach year, the Hollywood bowl fills its calendar with a wide range of events and concerts by world-class performers. From the opening night fireworks show to movie nights and concerts from top names like Steve Martin, Billy Joey and One Republic, the 2014 season is shaping up to be fabulous. Ticket prices for events and concerts vary, but you can find more information on prices and purchasing tickets at www.hollywoodbowl.com/tickets/calendar-fullseason.
Food and PicnickingThe Hollywood Bowl is surrounded by gently rolling hills that create the perfect place to enjoy a pre-concert picnic. Picnic areas do have some tables that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Many of the picnic areas open as early as 4 hours before each concert, so you'll have plenty of time to relax and enjoy your picnic before the show. And, even if you can't find an available table, you can still bring along a picnic blanket for an al fresco meal on the grass.
Where is the best place to sit?
Seating at the Bowl is generally good, no matter the location you choose. But, for the best views, pick seats in the Garden Boxes, Terrace Boxes or in the Super Seats section.
Is it kid-friendly?
Most regular evening concerts at the Hollywood Bowl are not suitable for kids, but the venue does offer a six-week daytime concert series for kids each summer. Call 323-850-2000 for details.
