Established in 1965, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) sits on 20 acres in Hancock Park, as the largest art museum in the western United States. The impressive collection features more than 120,000 pieces from a broad swath of styles and artists across the world. General admission includes access to a bulk of the permanent collection on display, while some current and upcoming exhibits at LACMA may require separate tickets at a nominal fee. Louise Nevelson in L.A.: Tamarind Workshop Lithographs from the 1960s


January 17th, 2015-May 17th, 2015
Predominately a sculptor, Ms. Nevelson created 42 lithograph prints during her time in L.A. This show features a selection of these, illustrating the everyday objects she used to achieve the aesthetics she desired.

Ernst Barlach: Portfolios


January 31st, 2015-July 12th, 2015
The graphic art of striking human figures in this collection of work highlights the heartfelt process of Expressionist and playwright, Ernst Barlach (1870-1938). Echoes of Van Gogh haunt the 50 prints, books and illustrations featured in the exhibit.
