LA Kings Holiday Ice At L.A. Live Rink
Like to skate? Hate cold weather? You're in luck, if you're in Los Angeles over the winter, that is. And if you are, you'll want to head on down to the LA Kings Holiday Ice at Nokia Plaza anytime between November 30 and December 31, 2014. The good thing is you won't have to worry about not being able to get in some serious skating time because the L.A. Live outdoor ice skating rink is huge. How huge? It's a whopping 5600 square feet and it can handle up to 200 skaters at one time. The price is just $15 for general admission, which includes the skate rental, for adults, and $10 for kids 7 years old and younger. Military personnel and seniors are $8. And if you need socks, they can be rented as well for $4 a pair.

From November 30 through December 12, the rink will be open Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. After December 12, the hours will be 3:00 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. every day. As for parking, it's available and easy to access. For couples and families looking to add a little something special to their experience, there's the Supper and Skate Package. It includes a prix-fixe dinner at one of the very fine L.A. Live restaurants along with general admission and skate rental. The price is $35 for adults and $25 for children.
