The upcoming 2014 Hollywood Bowl program is one of the venue’s most exciting in recent years. Join thousands of other Southern Californians under stars for an evening of outstanding music, whether it be the graceful and grand interpretations of the Los Angeles Philharmonic on a Tuesday or Thursday, a set of jazz on Wednesday, or a Weekend Spectacular on Friday or Saturday. This year’s KRCW festival series also brings a slew of great artists to the Bowl this year from June to September: Caetano Veloso, Janelle Monae, and Robyn + Royskopp, just to name a few.
Getting to the Bowl is decidedly easy—it’s located right off the Hollywood Freeway on Highland Avenue. However, parking for the bowl is very limited. You are encouraged to take public transportation to the venue, or utilize one of the 14 Park & Ride locations and Shuttle Bus lots. If you do decide to drive, allow ample time to arrive and find parking at the venue. Additionally, you can bring your own food with you (there are also great options available to the concertgoer provided by the Patina Group). A Hollywood Bowl picnic is something of a Los Angeles tradition—enjoy the show with great food, friends, and atmosphere. Meet you at the show!
